Dr. Roger Shinkaruk was awarded a variety of academic scholarships from both the Province of Alberta and the University of Alberta during his tenure at the U of A, while achieving both Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degrees.
Dr. Shinkaruk loves dentistry and people, and he has tailored his general practice of dentistry to facilitate the complete care of patients of all ages. He and his staff recognize the anxiety many people feel towards receiving dental care and strive to achieve excellence in the delivery of their care, while maintaining a genuinely friendly but professional atmosphere in the office. Dr. Shinkaruk is an employee of the Calgary Flames Ltd., Partnership and has served as the team dentist for the Calgary Hitmen since the inception of the team. He also serves other local university teams, and is the dental consultant for Hockey Canada. Dr. Shinkaruk has cultivated exceptional relationships with our city’s top specialists. He also provides care for such adjunctive services such as sleep apnea and snoring, as an aside from his provision of all conventional services.
